The New Eclipse!
Thankfully, 3 years later, the troupe was re opened in Watford in July 2004 and we now have 20 members, girls and boys, aged 5-32!
We like to perform our routines for the public in carnival processions, parades and displays as well as to participate in competitions and other organised events.
More recently we performed a display for the South Oxhey Christmas Lights festival, St George's Day celebrations in ASDA, Watford Superstore, we took part in the Harpendon procession and we have also performed at many school fetes and fun days!
We even got filmed as part of the Pizza Hut "Pasta Hut" campaign and if you look close enough you can see us in the televised advert!
The Majorettes have also been entering competitions since September 2004 and have won various 1st, 2nd and 3rd places both individually and as a part of a team. Many of these prizes have been won at the National competitions with the UKFM.
We have lots of performances lined up and we will even be hosting our own competition!
In addition to the Majorette orientated events, we try to give the team a social side as well by arranging family fun days, swimming parties, discos, games nights etc to help them make friends and reward them for the hard work and effort!
Team colours are black, white and silver, yet for competitions we use a variety of different colours and shades.
Training classes are weekly and concessions are made for siblings and advanced payments.
The Eclipse Majorettes are looking to recruit new members to join us, so if you would like to have fun doing something new then we'd love for you to come along!
Girls and Boys aged 4+ are welcome and as well as learning a unique sport/art, we aim to have as much fun as possible doing it!!!
We also have an "adult" class for the more mature person wanting to learn majorettes!
