"OLD ECLIPSE"
Majorettes stems from Cheerleading and is a combination of dance and gymnastics choreography and the use of different majorette equipment e.g. pom poms, batons, flags, ribbons, maces, big silks, wheels.

The troupe was originally formed in Wembley in 1994 with 50 members but was "frozen" in April 2001. The Troupe President Mrs Della Laws successfully managed the troupe while her two daughters, Faye and Nina were responsible for the training and choreography of twirls and routines.

For the 6.5 years of Della's reign, the majorettes benefitted from much fun and enjoyment and even had the opportunity to travel to Europe for some of the competitions and performances!Previously, the troupe participated in the New Years Day parades and displays in both London and Paris;the Battle of the Flowers week in Jersey;taken part in a trip to the twin town in France;performed at prestigious locations such Wembley Stadium and in the Isle of Wight; competed in Nationwide competitions as well as in the Isle of Mann and much more inclusing on a smaller more local scale e.g school fetes.
The troupe also won many prizes at Open Competitions as well as within the UKFM   and at National level both individually and as a part of a team.

Unfortunately, bad health and other contributing factors meant the troupe had to be "frozen" by Della, with the intention being that Faye restart it when the time was right...........
